Ben Pease and Bianca Stone are Brooklyn-based poets and the publishers of Monk Books. Bianca is the force behind Poetry Comics and an incredible collaboration with Anne Carson. She also runs The Ruth Stone Foundation, which celebrates the work of her grandmother, poet Ruth Stone, and fosters the creation of contemporary poetry and art. Ben hosts the podcast “Scattered Rhymes” on the very excellent contemporary poetry site: The The Poetry Blog.

Bianca Stone is a poet and visual artist. She is the author of Someone Else’s Wedding (Tin House Books, 2014), as well as several chapbooks and the poetry-comic, I Want To Open The Mouth God Gave You, Beautiful Mutant (Factory Hollow Press). Stone is the editor of Monk Books, a small press that publishes limited-edition chapbooks of poetry and art, and is also a regular contributor for The The Poetry Blog. Her poems have appeared in such magazines as Best American Poetry 2011, Conduit, Crazyhorse, and Tin House. Stone collaborated with Anne Carson on Antigonick (2012), a new kind of comic book and translation.
Ben Pease is the creator and host of “Scattered Rhymes,” the featured podcast of The The Poetry Blog. His poetry has appeared in MAGGY, Paperbag, notnostrums, and SUPERMACHINE, among others. He is the author of Wichman Cometh, a selection of his Blockbuster in Verse, Chateau Wichman.
