Author and editor, Pedro Medina stayed in the Writers Room and was able to finish his manuscript, an untitled project about intersecting lives in Miami and written en español. Writing his own novels isn’t the only thing Mr. Medina is involved in. Aside from editing Sub Urbano (an online periodical with over 35 thousand subscribers), he is busy working on a number of projects revolving around bilingual and Hispanic authors in the US. He’s just edited a new collection of short stories, Viaje One Way, written in Spanish by local authors with stories centered on Hispanic and Latino experiences in the US.

In fact, he left a nice note in The Writer’s Room Guest Book: “El tiempo mas valioso del mundo, es el tiempo para escribir. Gracias Betsy.”

De nada Pedro.
