"Art: By Any Means Necessary" transforms Miami Beach and Overtown into a dynamic hub of artistic expression this Juneteenth weekend. This multi-venue celebration features writers in residence at The Betsy Hotel, creating alongside established artists Boss Blow, Florence Naprix, and Guy-Robert Yves-Mary Barjon under the guidance of director Rachelle Salnave.

The centerpiece film screening of "Art: By Any Means Necessary" takes place Saturday, June 21 at the Overtown Performing Arts Center, showcasing powerful storytelling that honors the spirit of freedom and artistic expression.

Meanwhile, Artists Echo networking events in The Betsy's iconic Piano Bar (June 19, 20 & 22, 6-11 PM) offer intimate opportunities to connect with visiting artists during Jazz at The Betsy.

This collaboration between The Betsy Hotel, The Miami Foundation, Jorge Perez Foundation CreARTE, FIU Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab, and Art of Black Miami creates unprecedented access to diverse artistic voices. Whether you're an artist, arts supporter, or culture enthusiast, this weekend celebrates the transformative power of creativity in building community and advancing social change.
