New film explores coral reef preservation through a queer lens.

Join us for a panel discussion inspired by Neon Reef: A Queer-Coded, Neon-Fueled Nature Documentary, a vibrant new film exploring coral reef preservation through a distinctly queer and visually imaginative lens. Hosted by Louis Aguirre, this special panel features Commissioner Laura Dominguez, scientist Kevin Wong, and producer Alex Mitow.

Presented in partnership with the Miami Film Festival and PRIDE, the discussion will take place on April 11 from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at B Bar at The Betsy. Together, the panel will explore the film’s themes of environmental stewardship, storytelling, and the intersection of culture, identity, and place.
