The Betsy Writer's Room, FIU Public Humanities Lab, and Ocean Drive Association, invite you to an evening where music and moving image meet in public space. Begin with a live performance by the Assel Jean-Pierre Jr. Trio as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, then continue the night with the official opening of Edouard Duval-Carrié’s ORB video installation, curated by Carl-Philippe Juste, presented on The Betsy Orb—Miami Beach’s glowing skybridge and a permanent canvas for public art.
Together, these back-to-back experiences extend the community-wide programming for “From Venice with Love,” Duval-Carrié’s monumental retrospective on view at The Betsy Hotel—inviting neighbors and visitors to gather across Ocean Drive for an evening shaped by rhythm, light, and Caribbean imagination.
