Nicole Yarling and The Ellis Duo

 NICOLE YARLING – Vocals and Violin - Nicole is a rich velvet voice with technical skill and personality to boot! She is a star in the jazz community who, like many others, has been at it for years. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, a musical household laid the groundwork for Nicole's career. She is an Assistant Professor of Music at Florida Memorial University and a lecturer at Frost School of Music, a protégé of the late Joe Williams, and she is also a gifted violinist, educator and mentor to countless admirers.

 THE ELLIS DUO - The Ellis Duo is husband-and-wife team Cindy and Ryan Ellis, blending expressive vocals and soulful jazz piano with the ease of longtime collaborators. Cindy Ellis, a Cuban-American vocalist, has performed with and conducted ensembles at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Adrienne Arsht Center, New World Symphony Hall, the Guzman Center, and the Kennedy Center, and is a regular in The Betsy Hotel’s Mostly Jazz series. Ryan Ellis is a highly regarded jazz pianist and award-winning Miami-Dade music educator who has toured throughout Florida, the Caribbean, and Hawaii, performing with artists including Eddie Jones, Bobby Dukoff, Paul Brown, and Ira Sullivan. He directs the choral program at Zelda Glazer/Miami Dade Arts Charter, and his ensembles have performed nationally, including at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall.
