Brilliant pianist-arranger Vyacheslav Gryaznov brings G-Phil’s Rhapsody in Blue and his dazzling transcriptions

This special event features pianist, arranger, and composer Vyacheslav Gryaznov in George Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue, performed with Gryaznov’s own G-Phil Virtual Orchestra—an innovative project that brings the color and sweep of orchestral collaboration into an intimate recital setting. The program also includes selections from Gryaznov’s acclaimed piano transcriptions, showcasing the artistry that has made him one of today’s most distinctive pianist-arrangers.

A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory and Yale School of Music, a Schott-published artist, and the author of more than 40 concert arrangements, Gryaznov brings dazzling virtuosity, imagination, and a rare symphonic sense of the piano to this Betsy performance.
